I can’t believe they even have the audacity to call you multiple times a day. I have dealt with other debt collection agencies before, and I can say with 100% certainty that this company is the worst. Their customer service reps are terrible and their collection tactics are unacceptable.

I am 47 years old and I have never rented and apartment or co-signed for anyone, yet I have this company on my credit report. I have asked them repeatedly to prove the debt was mine and all I get in return is demand for payment and disrespect.

I keep trying to explain I have proof of identity theft, but they said that was not their problem. They are completely inconsiderate!

I have to agree with a lot of the other reviews, the reps that answer the phones are unprofessional it took calling back multiple times before I was able to get a decent rep to pay off an old apartment debt.

They are quick to take your money especially in full, but they take forever to update your credit report.

I have been dealing with Assurant Recovery Solutions for the last five years. Initially, I thought it was a good company to deal with but that was when I had no major problems. It all changed when I fell into debt and couldn’t make payments on time. They started calling me every day and sending me threatening letters. The worst part is that they call my work.

I am currently in a difficult financial situation and they are just making it worse by trying to collect an old apartment debt. I’ve been harassed by them, their texts and phone calls have been incessant, they threaten to take away my assets, even resorted to using physical threats.

I was able to pay off my debt in full pretty easily, however still waiting for it to be removed from my credit report.

The rep decides to tell me I could get arrested, they did not know I read thru the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, when I brought it up they hung up in my face.

I was a victim of identity theft had all the proof, and all they did is argue with me and demand payment, after 3 months I finally got it removed from my credit report.

Not only do the call you multiple times they ended up getting my Mom’s number and started harrassing her. This company is horrible.

I received 11 calls in one day, this cannot be legal. Even though I only answered 2 of the calls this is rediculous not to mention they are extremely rude.

I am writing this review because I needed to share my story with the world. They are just one of those companies that suck, and do everything they can to ensure that you are not happy. In my case, they were harassing me for a debt that I owed which was not due until April. That’s a month away!

They literally called me a dead beat, wtf is wrong with these reps. Maybe be respectful and professional if you want people to pay their debt.

How do these people get away with this. This debt has been paid for 2 years, yet I am still fighting to get the entry removed from my credit report.

It is impossible to get anything handled with Assurant

This company IQ Inc International, also known as Rent Collect global and Assurant Inc. I researched them after finding them on my credit report, this is a major red flag for me personally. When I called them trying to negotiate a settlement the rep became verry rude and unresponsive. After months of multiple daily calls and back and forth I finally got a settlement that I paid just to get rid of these people. Horrible customer service. They lie repeatedly.

Assurant Recovery Solutions has the worst customer service on the planet. Constantly calling you with threats and harassing you for payments that have already been made, cannot speak to anyone about what’s going on (you always have to be transferred).

Assurrant is the absolute worst company I have ever dealt with. Their customer service is always rude and unhelpful.

Rude disrespectul people.

Be prepared when calling or speaking to Assurant on the phone, they talk over you and will not listen to a word you say, in a 20 minute call they requested payment 12 times.

There is no need for these reps to be so outright rude and unprofessional, I hope the company sees these reviews because they are absolutely true.

Tried to settle an old apartment debt, these people are extremely rude and hang up on you multiple times. 4 months later I am still trying to clear the debt from my credit report.

I litterally have spent over a year trying to negitiate a settlement with Assurant and Ive had it a proved multiple time and then they go back on the agreement, these people don’t give a crap about anyone but their bottom line.

With the economy the way it is, people have a hard enough time putting food on the table, then steps in this debt collector and stresses people out. Their customer service is seriously lacking and they have zero professionalism.

Assurant deserves zero stars very rude and disrespectful reps.This debt is not mine and I have a release of liability, it was a roommate issue. All they do is argue with you whether the debt is yours or not,

Tried to get lower that the original amount and said if I did not pay they will ruin my credit. SMH

They keep telling me to pay the balance in full and cannot even get their name right. They have not validated anything and are so disrespectful its sickening.

These people are rude and call from different numbers in different states, is that even legal?

I’ve been trying to negotiate and agreement for months. Still waiting on them to validate the debt. They are calling my Mom’s and Sister’s house and even told them why they were calling which is so illegal it turns my stomach.

Calling from so many different numbers and lie about it.

Don’t dare ask questions they just hang up on you. Still dealing with these idiots.
